Does anyone know around how many faxes hylafax can receive, say per
minute? I know there there are a
lot of variables involved, but if you have an educated guess I'd like
to hear it.
It depends on the number of modems in use, the amount of data per fax,
the clarity of the call, and the negotiated communication speed.
Generally speaking you can get an average page of fax in about 30-45
seconds. So if you assume 8 modems with 2 pages per fax, then you can
get 8 faxes per minute.
