Chelsea will have to go three fixtures without their hitman, DIEGO COSTA. The three match ban stemmed from Costa stamping on Liverpool's midfielder, Emre Can, in Tuesday night's Capital One Cup semi-final.
Chelsea will be going against league rivals Manchester City , who are second placed in Premier league standings. Costa had been charged with violent conduct following the incident.
EPL's top striker tried to appeal the ban with hopes of being featured in the fixture against City. However an Independent Regulatory Commission ruled that Costa was guilty of the charge and will have to sit out the next three fixture.
FA website released a statement reading: "Diego Costa will serve a three-match suspension with immediate effect after a charge of violent conduct against him was found proven by an Independent Regulatory Commission on Friday 30 January 2015." http://www.u7buy.cc/ https://twitter.com/u7buycc/
